The New

January 8, 2014

Years ago at the prompting of my niece I signed up for to create a website. After a few tries using their template I gave up. I didn’t really like what they had to offer at the time. Today a friend mentioned it again as a way to create a site for her business so I decided to take a look at it again and I found something completely different. Read the rest of this entry ?

Mobile Streaming vs Desktop Streaming

November 27, 2013

I recently complete an edit for a client in which he recorded a few video segments for his health and nutrition business. Everything appeared fine on local playback so I uploaded it to Youtube for him to approve. Imagine my surprise when he emailed me to let me know there was something wrong with the audio. I listened to my local copy again and admitted there was a quite a bit of wind noise when it was originally recorded so I tweaked the audio and uploaded it again. And again I received the same complaint: bad audio. Read the rest of this entry ?

Raising a Screen

September 25, 2013

My church is premiering a Christian movie designed to get people talking about the book “The Great Controversy” which talks about God and how evil was brought into this world; a world which was supposed to be free from sickness, death and evil.
To enable the proper viewing of the movie many of us had to get together to erect a 40ft screen. It took time and a LOT of hands.
The stills were shot with a Swann Freestyle Action Cam, cleaned up in Lightroom and then complied in Sony Vegas Pro 12.

Digital Age

August 15, 2013

SpaceAge Consulting not only does Video Production and Editing but we also provide Audio Engineering for live and studio applications as well as Audio consultation. One of my favorite aspects of my job is to work with Churches on improving and installing their audio systems. I have been blessed to work with many churches on making minor and major improvements to their sound systems. However, over the years I have noticed a few common themes with church sound systems: there is no long term plan…. Read the rest of this entry ?

Montgomery County Small Business Day

June 19, 2013

On June 17th Kelly Leonard (of the Taylor-Leonard Corp) hosted a Small Business Networking Luncheon as part of the Networking Series which brings Small Business owners of Montgomery together along with bankers, and member of the county governments.
I have attended a few of the shorter meet and greets but the luncheon top them all with 4 separate panels which focused on topics such as using Social Networking for marketing, how to raise money and different ways to be more successful.
It was a great opportunity and I met some wonderful people. Some of the pictures I took are hosted on the site ( and have created a short video with some of the other photos that highlight the day. MCM Small Business Luncheon
